A BOUQUET MADE OF HISTORY, VINEYARDS, PEOPLE, FUTURE

Albugnano 549 is a project focused on wine making and the territory. It was created to enhance the denomination area, which today covers 44 hectares, with a wine that expresses the characteristics of this specific area, its marly soil and higher altitude than other denominations. The choice of pure Nebbiolo derives from this aim. The vinification process respects the individual traditions and is harmonised to obtain highly expressive wines, with longer maceration times and giving the wines time to age correctly for 18 months in wood and 6 months in bottles. We chose oenologist Gianpiero Gerbi to guarantee the quality of our work and of our end product. We want our Albugnano DOC to travel beyond the boundaries of our four municipalities to become the best ambassador for the biodiversity of its territory, so rich in nature, arts, gastronomy, hospitality and much more.
