How can you not fall in love with the wine hills between Castelnuovo Don Bosco and Albugnano? We fell in love with them, renovated the historic Cascina Vironi and it became our home. We replanted the vineyards surrounding the house with the best grape varieties of the region: Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir and Freisa. We are currently converting to organic farming, which will be completed in 2024. In the meantime, Cascina Gilli is transforming the grapes for the production of Albugnano into our first DOC, La Passeggiata, which will soon be available on the market. This will be followed by the Metodo Classico Controluce sparkling wine, made from our Pinot Noir grapes. La vita è Bella!
