From the spring to the beginning of the autumn, this area is a welcoming oasis of peace and wellbeing for locals and for the many tourists – about half of whom come from abroad – searching for the authentic spirit of Piedmont.

During the summer the area hosts many village fairs where you can sample local specialties with a glass of Albugnano DOC, dances, cultural events and special occasions.

Calici di Stelle, a country-wide celebration of wine, is one of these special occasions: as part of the programme, Albugnano hosts an event on its magnificent belvedere around the 10th of August, when it offers local wines and foods for sampling in the cool summer breeze while admiring the panorama that stretches all the way to the Western Alps.
